The Daniel Sky Band went on tour. We crossed Canada playing 20 gigs in 25 days and we had a ball. Gig highlights included:

• Ethelbert, MB - When we arrived in this small town of about 300 people, there was a welcome party waiting outside of the bar. Everyone who wasn't at a wedding social that night came to our show and we rocked the house until 3 in the morning. I even sang a very rambunctious version of Karaoke Cowboy for the crowd.
• Thunder Bay, ON - Though both gigs that we played at The Apollo were VERY sparsely attended, it was a highlight to meet Sheila (the bar owner) and her mom Tina, who treated us like kings. Tina kept plying us with brown food that made our road stomachs sing with delight. She even remembered that Brad is a vegetarian and when we returned she had lots more veggie options.
• Banff, AB - Our best-attended show. Two tour busses dropped about 50 people off and they stayed and danced all night. It was awesome
• Enderby, BC - An old hippie named Loren has converted a one room school house in Enderby, BC into a beautiful venue called Lorenzo's Cafe, complete with a bowling alley in the back yard (true story).
